So happy to have found this post! My questions are, if this sconce makes a buzzing sound because it takes a flourescent bulb? And does it flicker when it's switched on? It's the perfect sconce for our master bathroom but I'm apprehensive to buy. Thank you!!

Great to hear shannyshots--while I haven't visited this project recently, there was no noticeable buzzing sound from the fluorescent bulbs, and they didn't flicker when they were first turned on. They looked good installed. It doesn't appear that Restoration Hardware has updated/changed them to contain LED's at this point either, so they are still available with fluorescent bulbs.
