Hi there! Thanks for your patience. The accent countertop/shelving feature is constructed out of our cabinetry. In this particular application our designer has used echo wood, but the same look could be accomplished using maple/oak/cherry/walnut/etc. depending on the look you're going for. We don't typically recommend using cabinetry as a countertop that is going to be used for food prep, so this is used as a raised portion just as an accent, and to use as shelving below.
