Wilted, Yellowing Leaves on Young (1 yr?) old trees

Hey guys, I have about 7 young avocado trees I started from the pits suspended in water and after a few months transferred into soil.

When they were only aqueous the leaves were always taught. After planting, they invariably got a bit wilted. I have never been sure whether the issue was the soil combination, drainage, or sun exposure. They have never stopped growing, the leaves just look really sad.

As of now, they are planted in a reasonably standard potting mix that I added some perlite to in order to keep well drained. Their sun exposure is not direct at the moment, although it had been in the past. They sit between two buildings and under some shrubs and get some indirect sun throughout the day.

I just added a little sprinkle of citrus/avocado fertilizer to the soil this week. We are in Miami (we, yes, my avocados and I). I've attached pictures.

Any tips would be helpful.

Transplant shock during the move from suspension in water to soil. Keep them moist but not wet and out of long hrs of direct sun for few days. I did the same as you (grow from pit in water then transfer to soil) and also experienced the same.

@yenniesg Thank you! I totally see your point, however, they have looked like this for a few months now and a lot of what you see is new growth. I'm wondering if I have a soil issue..

Same issue here recently with less than 6 month old from seed. It has been thriving. Nothing has change except possibly temperature as it is getting a little cooler. I have multiple trees from seeds and only one suffering from this issue and all but top layer leaves are wilted and brown shriveled up. I think about more than a month ago I started to add Jobe's 4-10-5 tropical fruit fertilizer pellets I think. I added probably 4-5 small pellets to soil and water. They are all in 1 gallon milk carton square paper/wax container with holes on bottom as I like to reuse/recycle. Trunk seems health and still showing grow as I can see that leaves on top still sprouting. I was worried about over watering so has stopped. They are under filter light. Hoping experts can give me some ideas on stopping issue. Thanks!

Avocado needs plenty of sun daily for proper growth... could you share a photo of your plant position with the filter light?
