Backsplash opinions please

Here is my top granite pick with my top backsplash pick. I know I need to wait till I get my granite installed, but I've had this vision for my kitchen for awhile. I'm pretty obsessed with crackle tile, but don't want it to be busy. I also love bevel, but I can't do bevel & crackle. Thoughts?

I don't know why you think you can't do bevel and crackle. I really like that combo in your first picture.

Crackle is a subtle detail. I don't think it makes a backsplash busy. It may subtly reflect undercounter light.

You can definitely mix the 2 - but love the crackle! If you actually look at it from a few feet away you will see that it is not that busy. Just do a grout the same color or just slightly different...

What about the color? The top tile is WHITE & the bottom ones is BONE.

I'll add my 2 cents here and also vote for the crackle: I don't think it's busy at all with your granite.

Bone vs. White... That's a little harder for me. I'm a huge bone fan over white (warmer) but the differences in the photo seem minimal, though I've a feeling they aren't really. The white crackle is the one at the very top, correct? I think they both (in the crackle) look nice.

Yes the white is the top crackle tile. It isn't a bright white. It reads more "cream" than white.

I really love the crackle.

I love the crackle and I would go with the bottom (bone) color rather than the top (white) one with your granite, but it might depend on your cabinet color. Also, I agree with the first response regarding bevel and crackle - I don't see why you couldn't do both if you found a suitable tile.

This is my cabinet color.

The paint color has been changed to a very light tan.

Hm, now that I see your cabinet color I might go with the white tile, although I think either would be lovely. Just depends on whether you want to go warmer or cooler. Are you keeping the stainless appliances? What color cabinet hardware?

Yes the appliances are staying & the hardware is brushed nickel. I would like to keep things warm. That parti might have to wait till after the install.

I love the crackle too! It's one of my top choices for my back splash as well (in a different shape).

I'm going with the exact same tile. I love the crackle. I have white cabinets and my granite is very much like yours. It's Giallo Verona. Although my tile looks white, it's called Linen. When held up by itself, it looks white but when held against the white cabinets, it's more of a greyish white.
