Lighting Fixture/Door Handle/Bathroom hardware mixing metals?

Moving into our new home next week and we have picked out several pieces of hardware, however we have yet to pick out bathroom hardware (faucets, towel rods, toilet paper holders etc.,)

For almost all of our lighting, we went with an antique bronze...

Examples of what we went with:

Formal dining: https://www.crateandbarrel.com/clive-large-bronze-chandelier/s340907

Kitchen: https://www.crateandbarrel.com/eclipse-silver-pendant-light/f42821?&a=0&lkhd_id=FIYEPY&lkhd_type=dynamic

Hallway/Stairs: - http://www.homedepot.com/p/Minka-Lavery-Parsons-Studio-3-Light-Smoked-Iron-Semi-Flush-Mount-Light-4107-172/205931142

For our door handles, we are going with an "Antique Pewter":

Even most of our ceiling fans are a flat bronze color (none of the distressed looking antique bronze)

Our cabinets are white, walls light grey, floor is a grey "wood" tile.

That being said...is it considered "bad design" to mix a brushed nickel for the bathroom hardware and kitchen cabinet handles? or should we lean towards a darker metal?
