Hi rhizo, I’m not sure if you were serious or joking because the photo was taken at night. Haha. But it’s the best time to capture the blue iridescence. Although growing this type of begonia in lower light conditions is what causes the leaves to do it.

It looks like the rhizome may be completely buried. The normal position would be on the soil surface.

How’s your Begonia doing? I just got b. Pavonina a month ago - put it in a terrarium where the soil never dried and the smaller leaves started to die. just curious if your plant is still doing okay outside of cloche.
