If when you place the order you let us know what type of form you are looking we can try to accommodate your request. The boards usually come concave, like above, arched, which has an opposite curve or straight(ish). Each bed, as you said, will be unique and have characteristics from the tree it was hewn from, like knots, waves and ridges.
