I planted some nasturtiums in a very large elevated container along with tomatoes, marigolds, herbs and strawberries. Today I noticed these little black bugs on my nasturtiums. I'm hoping they don't transfer to my tomatoes. See photos. Does anyone know if they will harm the nasturtiums and more importantly, will they harm my tomatoes. I noticed that ants seemed to be picking at the bugs.

Most likely aphids...and yes the will harm what you are growing....by sucking out the nutritional sap. Get rid of them, organically, if you intend to eat what you grow. Natural remedies are less toxic, but do your homework, and do it fast.

BTW nasturtium leaves and flowers are great mixed into salad greens.
