industrial ‘I Beam’ hanging awning

We are planning to hang an industrial i beam awning to create a porch cover on a residential project. They are common place nowadays at high end retail outlets. Trying to find a manufacturer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi James,

I would suggest that you contact a local welding shop to see if they have fabricated awnings similar to this.

If they have they might be able to put you in contact with an architect or structural engineer that might be able to help design one for you.
