I had to take something to a "do" tonight. I tasted this in early November in a store at a town "Christmas Open House" and thought it was tasty. So did everyone at the meeting tonight!

It's easy and of course, if made ahead the flavor is better!

ORANGE MARMALADE CREAM CHEESE DIP

8 oz. package cream cheese, softened

8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

1 1/2 c. mayo

1 bunch green onions, sliced

slivered almonds (a palmful)

1/2 c. orange marmalade

Sliced almonds to garnish

Mix cream cheese, cheddar, mayo until smooth. Add green onions and slivered almonds and mix.

Put into a shallow dish, top with orange marmalade and garnish with sliced almonds.

I served it with Ritz and they were perfect!
