Laminate vs vinyl plank floors

Can’t decide what kind of flooring to put in our kitchen and living room? We like the vinyl plank because it’s water tight but are worried that it will look to much like vinyl in the living room. Also if we go with vinyl plank what is better click or glue?

I'm not a fan of laminate in a kitchen. That means you are down to vinyl (or porcelain tile). And the having something look "too much" like vinyl will come down to the QUALITY of the product (ie. the price) and the VISUAL you choose....which often comes with a price tag.

When it comes to installation method, the HOUSE and the PRODUCT CHOSEN will dictate what is "best".

We don't know what your house is made of, where it is nor the climate you live in. And we do not know the product you have chosen. That means we can't tell you which is better. There are too many unknowns. You are welcome to fill us in on the details and some interior photos of your space.
