This is a great idea.

Talley_Sue, I put each golf ball in a vise, then drilled a hole in it. I drilled holes all the way through the wood, counter-sunk at the back. In each hole, I pushed a screw through the hole, and screwed the ball onto the screw. Then I mounted the whole board to the wall in the closet.

DH is tall, so it's easy for him to get to the caps near the ceiling.

AnnKH -- I once read that you should never cut a golf ball because the insides are packed and under pressure. Don't ask me how, why what. Is that a myth? Have you just barely escaped an explosion?
