The last color I would choose for this house would be a white. What is the overall look your are seeking? Here is my problem with your choice, your windows have white framing that you cannot paint, so don't paint the walls a white as "2 whites will make a wrong" they never work together. So back to the "painting board". PS...Why do you want your house to just disappear? You have a beautiful front door, next to white walls it will just disappear.

I like the modern farmhouse but I know it’s hard with the white windows. I do want bougainvillea‘s to grow up and around my garage. Also, a vine to grow up a couple of the walls. I’ve lived in a yellow houses for the last 15 year so I wanted a completely different look. I’m not into beachy either. I do like a army green but so worried it’s out of style and I would get bored of it quickly. I appreciate your honesty:)

If you are planning to paint just the trim, I would choose a white equal to your front door. The door is a focal point and there is nothing harder on the eye as two whites together. I would not choose Dover white. I would paint the yellow portion of the house, as I too am not personally fond of a yellow exterior, but choose a color that would be a muted green like SW 6190 "Filmy Green" or an even lighter shade such as SW 6189 "Opaline".

I think the dover white, or one shade deeper, is great for the stucco, but then I would paint the front door a different darker color.

You're home is gorgeous, don't let it blend in - have fun with some color on the trim. For the exterior body, I would suggest PPG's Delicate White - it's a wonderful, crisp color. Would you be open to a pop of color on the trim?
