We're finally at the 'just order your tile and get it over with' stage. We don't like alot of colour too distracting for us - as you can see - but love different texture. I had planned on a 'wave' porcelain tile 10 X 20"- simply love the texture, but our installer/planner told me it would be too difficult to install in the small area - given that there are 4 outlets to be cut, and that since it is a small area , won't give me the 'punch' I'm imagining. They feel i will be very disappointed with the results. So, they're recommending a 3.5 X 15 " urban Zebra white tile, with a tiny mosaic installed randomly between the tiles. The tile has a type of funky surface to it. Also, should we tile behind the light on the small wall? thanks to all of you - love this site.
