A few weeks ago we had a blackout and my bf lit some candles so we’d be able to see at night. One candle was directly below the eyesore of white you can see, and it left a big black mark of soot. I tried cleaning it with water, soap, windex, and got nowhere, it was just spreading. Today I used rubbing alcohol and got most of the black out, however now the ceiling is terribly uneven. What you see now used to be about the size of the light. What do I do? I haven’t tried a Magic Eraser yet but I’m a little nervous. Even if I get it clean, it’s not going to match. It looks awful. Help!!!
