Please help! What type treatments for living room and front bedroom?

What type window treatments would look best in my living room and front bedroom? These windows face the front of the house and privacy is not as important as we are facing a large pasture/field and like the view. I need something on the single window that would block the uv rays during mid morning in the family room. The porch is wide enough so direct sunlight does not come through too much on the double windows. As you can see in the photo the bedroom single window gets a lot of afternoon sun. All of these window treatment for the living room and bedroom will need to be the same, I think?!

look at blinds.com. I've ordered many blinds from them and they're great w/customer service.

This is the double cell Cellular blind in Licorice that I've had in my sons room for years

From Bali. nicely made, cordless.

some other cellulars,,,top down option

both of these are the inside mount

if you want to block UV from the sun, maybe look at the Solar Shades?

I think roman shades in white would look lovely. Your trim and windows are really lovely and I'd choose something minimal.

Beth H..the link you sent is to someone else's post, I just commented. lol. Thank you for all of the great suggestions. I have thought about these just unsure of which to choose. I thought about fixed plantations shutters - 2-3" wide, but they are cost prohibitive and you are pretty much married to them. Also, if I choose a cellular type shade would you put panels on each side or leave as is?

Pricklypearcactus - thank you. I've thought of those also, I'm hesitant as I don't know how much of the window the blind will take up at the top....if that makes sense.

I'd prob just do the cellulars.

or you can do panels w/them or the romans. just depends on the look

Or, take a look at the Pirouette or Silhouette blinds. I used to have those. they're very nice by themselves.

Hey There: Inside mount installation is the way to go. Use bottom up top down honeycomb shades with only 1 inch in depth for a flush mount installation. Make sure you don't have any strings running across your glass or have a fixes header...this will take away from you view and block some glass.

Honeycomb fabrics are great for light filtering and improving the heat/cold inside your home because they build an additional layer of insulating air.
