UV cured is the BOMB! If you have someone who will do this for you then go for it! They are the toughest of the tough and the fastest of the fast.

Oil based polyurethane = yellow-orange floors.

Water based products = clear coat = no orange added to the base colour.

I would do UV for sure .

Thanks for the advice. With the red oak and a dark brown/greyish stain do you have an opinion on oil based vs water based?

Water base over any type of gray, no oil - never. Even dark brown with a gray hue. You apply oil and you will mute out the gray.
