Ultracraft is strictly frameless design, and I believe you would be looking at a framed style for Starmark, correct? That alone should help you with a decision based on which style suits your needs better. Ultracraft has a lot of variety in door designs that can be provided, particularly with the lift-up styles. Both companies get a few negative reviews at various places online, but if you are working with a reputable distibutor who is committed to helping you resolve any potential warranty claims, then you are probably fine with either one.

With all the cabinet manufacturing shut down, and new price increases soon to happen, you likely should postpone anything here. There is no urgency. You need to do loads more research if you’re even considering comparing apples and kiwi fruit. You’re not comparing anything g close to the same specifications.

My friend got Starmark cabinets a few years ago and is pleased with them.

@Freckle Lip Lift-up doors come in several types, and UltraCraft Cabinetry excels in this particular type of design. The sample images below are actually from Jay Rambo, not UltraCraft, but the styles of doors would be similar. There are also flip-up doors and rolling tambour doors.

Small kitchens benefit from the extra 20% storage space of frameless.

@freckle lip are you going with StarMark inset? And what color? I’m trying to decide right now. From my understanding they are both not craft companies and I don’t think you could go wrong either way. I’m in the middle of making my cabinet selections also and I’m so confused without being able to see and touch things and look at it compared to floors and backsplash. I totally hear you. Stay safe!

I bought full overlay Starmark cabinets in Marshmallow cream ( Bridgeport style). I’m attaching an image.

Did the marshmallow cream have a slight undertone? My house is throwing all the color samples off!!
