Neither. The gray trend is thankfully passing. A medium brown is neutral and classic which makes it a great backdrop.

I agree. Look at light to medium natural brown shades.

Whoa! The question is ,”Which color LVP do you prefer?” Not “ Should I do brown instead?”

Trend is not over. Google multi million dollar new builds, and see what is still going in. Gray is still a front runner.

My current house is a rental, but I’d happily put in hardwood or LVP in a basic brown. My former home had hardwood from 1949 and I adored it. The one before had bamboo in a medium brown. No regrets on any choices I’ve made.

Where are the floors going? What's around them in the surrounding rooms? You've got a Quartz sample next to them, is it for a kitchen? We design an entire space, not just 2 elements. We need to see the whole to best advise you. Depending on where you live, gray is on the way out. Those floors do lean towards gray. Please give us more to work with so we can better help.

Here is a rendering

The floors look great in the rendering - more of a warm brown tone. In your sample photo they look completely gray. Sometimes photos are deceiving online. Just check the samples in your new space and get something that looks like your rendering. Don't rely on the rendering to be an accurate representation of the color.

The floors in the rendering look orange to me. I'd go for something lighter.
