Hi! Two 80 x 40 ikea kitchen wall units would fit beautifully in an alcove in our dining room. I actially saw it in the ikea showroom. I was planning on just fitting standard cabinet legs, and worktop on top. I'm not 100 % convinced of the stabilty though and wondered if we should instead of legs build a base for them to sit on? Just wondering if anyone has done this? It won't get particularly heavy use.
