Here’s mine in living room

We only have recessed can lights around the fireplace and have a lamp plugged into an outlet on a wall switch for the opposite end. I'm not familiar with seeing lights like you in a living room.

I have 2 track lights in my LR each with 4 heads my room is quite large so the need for two I do not like a single center light in a LR so until pot lights do a track LEDs in 4000K lots of light and it can be on a dimmer too.

We have very similar to yours, Alisa - about to replace with one like the one Joy posted. Like yours, our living room ceiling is 8 feet, so I'm hoping the drum shade, as close to the ceiling as possible, will work for us.

You can use a small hanging light if the coffee table is positioned underneath it.
