Why is my living stones turning green from bottom ?

I purchased 3 living stones from a nursery one month ago. At first they were potted together then realized 2 wanted water (started

to shrivel and wrinkle) and the other didn’t so I separated them. They are potted with organic/ cactus soil mix and have rocks are the bottom for drainage as well as a draining hole in the ceramic pot.

I’m not sure why they are turning green at the bottom. I’ve watered them once since bringing them home and sit on the porch getting direct sun and rotated throughout the day to avoid sunburn.

I recently went back to the nursery to check out another plant and saw that the other living stones are started to flower and don’t have a color change like mine do. I’m not sure what’s going on abd they weren’t able to help much. I’m open to hear if anyone has experienced this and if so how to go forward.

Thanks :)
