Are you wondering if it's possible to paint over that tile again? If that's the question, then yea totally, if she wants to change the color change it! If you're asking what color it's hard to say without seeing the rest of the bathroom. You could really lean into the brown scheme and do like a muted ochre or something. Or else that bathroom tops looks like linoleum and there are lots of kits out there that would let her paint the linoleum whatever color she likes for not very much money. There are lots of tutorials of that option on DIY forums.

Pretty sure that counter is not linoleum. I sure looks like formica to me. Are you wanting a color for walls??

Yes she was wanting to change up the wall colour which is white right now.The counter top is cheap probably as you say formica.Since budget is tight wall colour was something she thought could be changed to give it a different look.The pictures were off the wall tiles around the vanity which are white and the brown colour ones that frame bath tub/shower area.

For a whole lot less money and effort, she could decorate the bathroom with towels and a shower curtain. The white wall would not conflict with anything she wanted to do.

And when she gets tired of whatever color decor she picks, she can just buy new towels and shower curtain.

That's what I'd do.
