This is a beautiful inspiration image - it's incredibly enticing. I adore soapstone, too, and often prefer it 'honed.' Please feel free to ponder that as well! Regarding the paint, I recommend 'White Dove' OC-17 from Benjamin Moore. It's a soft but refreshing off-white, and is a go-to in the industry as it complements just about all colors/materials you may have nearby as well as the natural light coming in throughout the day.

Thank you @mindbodyabode ! I should mention, its a spanish style house and we are planning to use swiss coffee on the walls. Maybe swiss coffee for cabinets too?

I have Silestone soapstone countertops in my kitchen, and chose Behr Ultra Scuff Defense stain blocking paint and primer off white paint to paint my entire home and kitchen. It came out great❣️❣️

@mindbodyabode thank you! So helpful- our kitchen is not super bright- with the dark soapstone (i really want), would you recommend an off white like swiss coffee vs a greige? Do you think a greige would be too dark?

Hi there @E L - apologies for the late(r) reply! I do recommend sticking to swiss coffee over most any greige tone. You're thinking just right - as the kitchen would ultimately feel too dark (and potentially too 'one-tone!'). Soapstone is so beautiful, I love to see it celebrated/featured. To do this well, it often requires at least a soft contrast of some sort. And swiss coffee can do just that. Plus, if you switch to a greige, you're missing the opportunity to keep the kitchen feeling a touch 'fresh,' which is a vibe the kitchen often begs for. (If you're craving greige, it may be possible as a feature wall if the layout allows it.)
