Why do you want to change your flooring? What about a fun tile? Placing LVF next to real wood never looks very good. The finish and color of the LVF will read “fake.”

Im just a very ”safe” neutral type gal.. the current floor is just very bold for my taste. maybe if i knew how to accentuate it correctly I would like it better.

I would do tile for the flooring, not another wood look. I love the flooring you have now...I'd do all white trim and walls, and then accent with colors...

As suggested, keep your current floors. If you are into neutrals, then I suggest that you paint your laundry trim a crisp white. And go with white or pale gray walls. Nothing more neutral than that! Warmth will come from the beautiful wooden door that swings into the room and the wood outside the laundry. You could put up thick wooden shelves in your laundry, and accent with black and white art. In other words…black and white are “neutrals.” Your floor is a good base to build upon.
