Paint Exterior Design Dilemma

Help Ẃelcome with paint/stain selection

Hi,

I am painting our tiny log cabin SW Black Fox. I am struggling with choosing stain for the new wood handrails and paint for the existing vertical poles. The first 3 pictures are of my cabin. The second picture is my inspiration photo.

I like SW Banyan Brown stain with Sw Steady Brown for the poles. I also love SW Hawthorne stain with SW Sturdy brown paint. I welcome any input😎

Sorry are those logs painted now? IMO logs never work well painted so I guess I need more info.Honestly your inspo pic is a far cry from your home I really do not think black is a good choice on a log home.

Are you sure those logs are not stained, rather than painted. I would power wash it good, and see just what you really have. That needs to be done, before you either restain, or repaint anyway.
