Floor plan with the dimensions would help you get better advice as well as what is the dimension between the door and the cabinets? Are these cabinets there already or is this planned?

As millworkman said, dimensions would help. As the space between the cabinets and the door, it looks about right the way it is, especially if this is a constantly used entryway you want a little extra space, not to "mar" or, cause damage to the side of the cabinet when bringing stuff in.

As the drawers go, if you need so much drawer space, you want to have drawers, but keep in mind the drawer-base cabinet can bring up the cost of the cabinet 50% give to take so if you can get away with limited drawer space on that side, use the middle cabinet with drawers and side cabinet as a typical base cabinet.

A big thanks for the help on this. I am back with all the answers. sorry for the delay here are the measurement. and floor plan :) This is an existing kitchen with new cabinets (not a new house). We only use this door in the summer to go on the 2nd floor patio. Thanks again

Drawer cabinets are usually recommended as a substitute for door cabinets with pull out shelves which is what used to be done. Have you thought about what you have to store and how best to store it in the new kitchen? The designer may be specifying drawers because most people like them and want them, but that doesn't mean they're the right thing for you. Maybe the middle cabinet could have doors?
