i was told to put durock overlapping the shower pan flange which i did

i was told to put the durock down over the flange of the shower pan-which i did. now i m gong to have an uneven outside edge. what can i do?

Pictures? Any CBU edge should be covered by tile that overlaps it by 1/8" and then a bead of silicone.

You need to fur out the wall studs so they sit proud of the flange, then put on the Durock. That way it won't kick out at the bottom.
