How to combine golden oak trim & cabinets with darker wood floors

I am trying to find a wood floor color that will work with my golden oak fireplace built-ins and lighter oak kitchen cabinets & trim throughout the house. Any suggestions? Currently have berber carpet throughout that I want to replace.
