I'd want it furnished just as it is. She has done such a lovely job of making it perfect. And while I don't know anything about the cost of housing in France, the asking price of roughly $533,000 doesn't seem bad at all, compared to what houses in DFW have been commanding.

I have an acquaintance who lives in France and her farmhouse looks nothing like these pictures….. it looks like a non-designer-owned rural French farmhouse…. charming in theory, iykwim.

It looks like they paid 80,000 Euros for it, back when it was a big reno project.

She did a beautiful job with it.

It is not uncommon, in rural France, to find properties for quite a low price, in the deeply rural areas. I had dinner last week with a couple that had renovated two properties a little further south. However, they were moving to the southeast to be less isolated.
