Use the same color as the inside of the house, Dove White. Then add LED lighting. A skylight or solatube is nice, too.

Is this an actual garage with a laundry set in it, or is it a converted garage to a laundry space? If it's an actual working garage, as in that big door gets opened and it might get a bit grungy, I wouldn't choose white for the walls. It can show grunge too much. A pale creamy tan, blue, or green can hide it better and still be very light and bright. More lighting would help too.

I agree there are some amazing LED lights for garages that light them up like an operating room . Thais how you lighten up a space

Don't paint it white. White won't make it brighter. Choose a bolder color.

I agree, dont paint it white. That wont give you a happy looking laundry room. Pick a brighter color. Not so sure, I would want the red in the above picture, but, there are many brighter happy looking colors, that would work much better than white. If the room is dark, then, it needs more lighting, regardless of the color you choose. You may also want the light bulbs to be a whiter color (Daylight type).
