Fun Look at Italian Fashion

I have a friend who travels to Italy a couple of times a year. As some background…she has dual citizenship, stays for a month or longer at a time in smaller cities. She posts the most beautiful photos of food, scenery, and textiles. She posted these a few days ago from a shopping district in Viareggio. I thought you all would enjoy seeing them. @Mtnrdredux, the shoes somehow reminded me of you.

See, we are going to Italy this summer, and dh is already nagging me about

”pack sensibly” and ”no need to take more than one pair of shoes!” Hogwash! Look at all that fashion…no way am I schlepping around that fashion-y place in a sad t-shirt dress with a fanny pack & keds!🤣

I love shopping in Italy - I wish I could do it just once a year and stay for a month at a time!

Italy has the best menswear by far IMO, but that just my taste. I like the women's clothes too.

The mother of my best friend in Mexico City always used to go to Italy (Milan) to buy clothes when she was young. She was not interested in NY or American fashion, and she had beautiful furs, clothes, and diamonds. Her husband had started chemical companies in Zurich, Toronto, and Mexico City, but had settled in Mexico, as his favorite place to live. He was originally from Holland and had relatives in the diamond business.

I check out Milan Street Fashion on YouTube often. Love seeing all the furs and colorful fashion statements on the streets. a very well dressed place.

Summer, I have also racked up some inexpensive linen tops at TJ last year. I havent been as lucky this year. I ordered a few things but nothing fit well.

Outsideplaying, I just found bright green linen wide leg pants at TJ for $19.99, I love the color, so I bought all they had in that store, 4 pairs.
