Kitchen Faucets - Newport Brass vs Perrin & Rowe vs Vintage Tub

I am having a hard time deciding between Newport Brass Chesterfield Bridge Faucet vs Perrin & Rowe Georgian Bridge Faucet. I found a great deal on NP but have read their customer service isn’t great if you gave any problems down the road, which leaves me hesitant.

I also came across a pretty bridge faucet from Vintage Tub & Bath but I’ve never heard of them and the price is drastically lower, which also leaves me hesitant.

Does anyone have experience with any of these faucets?!

Find out where each of these manufacturers are making their products. I suspect the lowest priced one is made in China and probably crappy.

Purely from an aesthetic POV and assuming you placed the photos in order of mention, I prefer the Newport Brass (first photo). It's a little beefier which is appropriate for this type of faucet. They are also a good brand, so you shouldn't have any issues with the quality.

For what its worth, I found the information provided by https://starcraftcustombuilders.com/sources.faucets2.htm helpful when i was looking at bathroom plumbing fixtures. YMMV

You are right @Sabrina Alfin Interiors - it does look like the lower priced one is made in China.
I agree with your point about the Newport Brass faucet being more aesthetically pleasing - I was leaning towards that one but got nervous after seeing some questionable reviews about their CS. I think I’m going to go for it anyways. Thanks so much for your input!

I actually was trying to make the same decision on the exact same faucets!!!!!

I started chickening out from Perrin and Rowe because of that one discussion on here, and some reviews on Amazon where it leaked alot!

And then I found the Newport Brass one, but apparently they are assembled in California but all the parts are from China. I was a little disappointed, BUT if the price is right I think I'll go for them.

Price wise...are they alot cheaper than the Perrin and Rowe? I haven't been able to find someone in Canada that can get that brand for me yet but they are quoting the Perrin and Rowe for $1869 cdn. If I am going to spend that much I don't want any leaks!

@scerrir I'm with you there! I don't want to spend this much on a faucet only to face issues with it, which has me unable to make a decision!

Newport Brass is pretty comparable price wise - I think P&R is around $200 more. But I found Newport Brass marked down 20% on Plumbtile.com, which has me leaning in that direction. I've seen some questionable reviews on both brands alongside some really great reviews, so I may just hope for the best on this one!
