What type of backsplash for calcatta ferrara and gray cabinets?

The countertop is very light gray with gray veins. Not white with gray like I thought at store but still beautiful. So white bs looks too stark next to it. Any simple suggestions that aren't too busy? Gray? Light or dark? And I love subway tiles so I'm ok with that. Or arabesque? I'll include pictures. Ignore wall colors, that's still undecided.

Looks like gray would work. Get some samples of different grays to try them. Since the counter is quiet you could do arabesque if you like it. The veins in the counter are not pronounced which is a good thing.

I agree. Find a gray matches the veinng.

We did a medium gray but my quartz is a white background.

You can match the white of the cabinets or find a gray that works.
