Anyone have book art that you can share?

Ohhhhhh, that would not work for me at all! What's the purpose in having books if you can't see the titles and authors?

That gives me agita. Very few of the books are in a position where they won't be damaged. (Yes I know it's art, of a kind, but still....)

Clever but too busy for me...and I'd be bothered if I took a book out and it left a gap in the design...plus there's something sinister in the look about the eyes....

    What a concept!

Interesting but I wouldn’t have the patience or the artistic ability to pull it off.

    That's just downright creepy looking!

Interesting comments. I look it as a work of art to be shared and then dismantled.

I didn’t think anyone would do this in their home!

All I can imagine is the dust potential which is surely on my own right now. I know its going to have to wait though - I need to take advantage of weather to really finish up some outside things before Fall weather really sets in. We'll have many wet days here when it does :) And, I am not a Fall person, I never have been.

I find that photo more distracting than interesting. Sorry.

It’s a good use for all those Penguin Classics and so on left over from high school literature class. The ones with the solid bindings, each publisher’s school line had its own color.

IMO, not a way to display books, but a way to make art from unwanted/discarded books. A lot of them look like paperbacks/catalogs...

Since this is obviously a compliation of non books I am noticing that if you ignore the probably asian appearance you could be seeing the most evil Librarian ever. I have suffered in my life from the Librarian from the netherworld who hates for you to take out 'the books' lest it disarray the stacks.

I don't think this was about displaying books...More like an art installation that uses books as it's medium.

I agree with arcy. I actually read my books--and with only limited space, only keep the ones I reread. So I want to be able to read the titles and remove them from the book case.

All of those "books" are uniform in size and color and, obviously it is intended only for amusement.
