The console with mirror is a bit squished into the space, and doesn’t appear to be sized for an adult. I’d display the family photos on picture ledges, and provide an ottoman to drop bags or take off shoes as you enter.

If you decide to stay with the table, I would move it to the wall in question, and hang the mirror at eye level. Then maybe a pouf to the left to sit on to put on shoes, or a good sized plant. I think your current setup is too small.

Thank you both- it’s a very awkward space- the wall is too narrow to house that table/mirror unfortunately. The wall it’s on is low bc of the staircase. The picture ledges are a fun idea. I think I need to declutter the space overall. I think it looks odd bc the mirror is quite low. The table is 34” I think

Do you need lighting in the entry? Because if so, I'd be tempted to use a larger, maybe round, table and put a nice lamp on it. Otherwise, you could put a pair of small prints on that wall or leave it blank. Nothing really needed.

No lighting needed, there’s a ton of natural light and a large overhead chandelier- thank you!
