Didn't even touch it. Don't want to touch it. I was more trying to find the company and see what they create caps for. It reads lubrication of ring required. It is a cap flush with the ground... Have you ever seen sewer rings or caps that look like this. My cleanout is on the opposite side of the basement? Can't figure this thing out? Maybe ill take the plunge and just pop it open? Figured maybe someone here saw something like this before.

How big is it? Kind of hard to tell from the picture.

It would help to know the size, where its located and what is wrtten on it. If large enough, it might be a sewage pump.

For Pete's sake, look inside and see what's there. Guessing about a generic cover will get nowhere. Sump, radon piping, plumbing, drain, safe with hidden diamonds, capped off oil well, important shutoff valve, who knows!

Lubrication is required.

To be clear, that’s what the cap says.

My guess is it is related to a radon elimination system, a monitoring point or clean-out. I could be wrong.

The cap would have stated 'grape seed oil'. Only grape seed oil is used for portals into another dimension.

I believe it is a sewer line cap at the front of the sewer line. So the entire line can be snaked if there is a clog. It's a good idea. I installed a clean out at the front of the sewer line in our new home
