Taj Mahal quartzite: damaged cracks or normal fissures?

Hi. My husband and I just purchased two slabs of Taj Mahal quartzite from our fabricator. We got a significant discount because he said they were unused extra slabs from a prior customer who is moving out of state and needed to sell them. They’re gorgeous but I’m now second guessing the pattern. I know natural stone varies from slab to slab but I’m not sure if this slab is literally covered in cracks, if this is even possible, or if this is just normal variation. SOS- opinions please
