I need help with backsplash for my sea pearl quartzite countertops.

I will have white cabinets on perimeter of kitchen, dark walnut stained island, light honey nutmeg floors and sea pearl quartzite countertops. I love the look of a white kitchen with Calcutta but opted against marble because I have young children and I love to cook and entertain so I wanted something more durable. The sea pearl I picked is more white/gray but it does have slight sea foam green undertones. I don't want to emphasize the sea foam green but want to focus on the white/gray. I am leaning towards white subway tiles but open to other options. Thanks!

I am in the same predicament. I just picked the Sea Pearl and I don't know what backsplash to choose. Did you find one???

I just selected sea pearl also and my kitchen is white cabs/dark espresso island and honey oak floors! I think my slabs have several large dark greenish/charcoal veins compared to yours..the only thing i was ever sure of was white subway backsplash and the granite associate assured me it would be "stunning". I also am trying to pull more grey tones and not the greenish cast. Although the taupe/grey glass subway would also look good with our beautiful kitchens too! Please post pics! Mine is still a month from completion:))

It looks like the slab has a lovely warmth to it. Maybe look at a matte finish tile in a light color that emphasizes the slab's coloring.

Gray, taupe or green glass tiles, the white does no justice to the other features you've mentioned.

I used marble as my backsplash. It was called Manhattan stack stone. I believe it is Carrera marble.

Calcutta is on the warm side. So maybe Taj Mahal quartzite?Also, here's a link that has some suggestions for marble look-a-likes using granite and quartzite.

It's rare to find a nice combination of tile and stone of any sort. Can you use the same stone as a backsplash, or a complementary stone? The marble backsplash is lovely, I believe because it is stone......

I’m using the sea pearl for backsplash. I didn’t want to take anything away from the look of the sea pearl.

The short wall space between it and the upper cabinets is BM Honest grey + 25% darker.

My cabinets are BM simply white.
