This is a comment not a question. This design leads to roll falling off frequently, I uninstalled mine.

Thanks for the comment. Open-style toilet paper holders are not an uncommon design. We've installed many and haven't had a single complaint.

I have a different open-style toilet paper holder. The lip on the end keeps the roll from falling off, even when pulling the paper at an angle.
