Nance Kitchen
Photo
Photo
Kitchen not remarkable on its own, but it does show me that I think I like white paired with tan/beige/natural tones.

I really like the all white when it has something to play off, like here, the dark island top and floors and chairs.
Q

I like the brick backsplash, which is why I saved this one (I don't care that much about the rest of the kitchen). But a nightmare to clean?
Q

Calming.

Like everything about this, although not sure about the gold hardware. BUT, I realize the gold is what gives it a little warmth and pop. Fun to have the blue without being over-the-top.
Q

Too much for me day in and day out, I think, but I like it
Q

Love the tile with the marble-y backsplash and the bit of wood accenting!
Q

Beautiful contrasts, between the window treatment, to the countertop, to the decorative tile backsplash.
Q

Cool look.
Q

Just a *tad* too much for me, but very cool; I like it a lot.
Q

Very clean and pretty without being too bland.
Q

I like this backsplash--both behind the stove and underneath cabinets--too.
Q

Cool tile backsplash.

There are things I don't love--the lights and the rounded hood, for example--but I really like the coordination while having different patterns, e.g., the dark solid island bottom, the top with gray and white with a little movement, and then the more busy gray and white tile backsplash.
Q
Photo
I like the patterned tile with the plainer countertop and cabinets.
Q
Photo
I don't love this one so much, but feel compelled to stop and say something because I haven't yet. I really like some the patterned tiles that are frequently used above the stovetop/under the hood.
Q
Photo
I like this use of contrast a little better. Mostly white/cream, but dark ceiling and base of chairs/island.
Q
Photo
This is too much black. But once again, I like the contrast.
Q
Photo
Love the incorporation of the wood with the white/gray/marble.
Q
Photo
I don't necessarily love this kitchen as a whole. I really don't like the green island. But, I do love all of the "natural" looking materials, from the wood on the ceilings and in the island, to the brick walls.
Q
Photo
Once again, I think I like the total-white look when there are dark floors to contrast and/or more ornate cabinet fronts/hardware to liven up the white.
Q
Photo
I like how the more ornate hardware, lights, and cabinet faces make the all white look more interesting.
Q
Photo
Normally, I don't love all white--a lot of white, but not all white. Here, though, it's really warmed up with the light and the blue-green chairs.
Q
Photo
The white and gray becomes more interesting with the mixed patterns, e.g., tile on the wall, tile on the stove, countertop--all three different designs, but same colors.
Q
Photo
A little too black-and-white for me, but I like the color contrasts created here.

I like the addition of the wood in the ceiling. It warms up the whole area. I like the white and gray once they have been warmed by the wood.
