Brenda…Miele is one if the premier appliance companies. Many people on this forum have them. More often than not, the convection oven is paired with Miele’s combi steam oven…which is also a fantastic appliance. That’s what we did.
What I meant about “heating up”, is the time it takes for the oven to reach whatever temperature you set it to…the pre heat temperature. Miele’s ovens pre heat so quickly…just 90 seconds, so less than 2 minutes…that when baking, I don’t need to turn on the oven to pre heat, until just before I'm ready to pour the batter into a pan, or begin dropping cookie dough onto a cookie sheet. Considering the number of threads with people complaining how long it takes for their ovens (from other brands) to heat up, I see this as a big plus.
