Pantry

Very functional with different sizes. I also like having locations for cookie sheets and platters (though I wouldn't have that on the floor). Don't want a shelf built onto the floor, anyway (can be utilized for storage anyhow). But I love the sense of design for function here.

So many plans have a wood base on the floor. I am content to keep floor on the floor, and build up from there. Yes, that's what I really like about this one.

Don't really like it, but just a note here that I'm fine with plywood (but NOT pressboard!)

This is way cool, but one has to have a set idea of sizes of anything that may be housed in here. I'd need some larger space for crock pot, dehydrator and so forth. But this I could see on a smaller basis...

If I go with wire (I'd prefer not) I like that some of these have baskets. Unfortunately wire comes re-made in set sizes.

The open-like drawers on the right, handy for extra condiments and similar small items.

It does have a counter, but I don't like that both sides of the room have samey-samey shelving heights. Not exactly sure why I selected this way back when.

My pantry will have a window (and shade), it just is what is. Want a countertop under the window. Mine would be wider.

Looks very practical for a rustic home. I could see the drawers under the counter.

I would indeed want a countertop in the pantry, at least against south wall. Loading/unloading.

GC neglected to do space for me to have platters and flat pans held vertical, despite my request. I want this in my pantry!!!!

This would have been cool, but I'm afraid the horse has left the barn door on this one. I think I picked it way back when for the appreciative amusement.
