Home Craft Remodeling

This kitchen remodel was a large project that was completed in a thoroughly professional manner from start to finish. Thomas Defibaugh is the business owner. He came to our home to discuss what we wanted and did an excellent job of asking questions as well as answering our questions and helped us get a better understanding of what was involved with a kitchen remodel. He had several ideas that we adopted. After that meeting he prepared a design draft and an initial quote and provided us with various material samples. We met again and worked out further details. Our next meeting was at the Home Craft offices on Westbourne Avenue. There we were able to see cabinet and granite samples and, after going over all the details in the contract, signed and placed a deposit. The work was then scheduled. This entire process was entirely amicable and devoid of any sort of pressure. We appreciated Tom's patience and the good advice we received from him. The work began in a timely manner and continued at an appropriate pace. Two members of his crew -- Mike and Matt -- did most of the work other than install the flooring and the electrical and plumbing work. Matt did a masterful job with the drywall and ceiling plaster. All of their work was professional grade and it was clear they took pride in doing quality work. Tom stopped by from time to time to check on how work was progressing and kept us apprised of the work schedule. He addressed all of questions and concerns quickly and to our satisfaction. At times he saw things to be corrected that we hadn't even noticed and had his crew bring them up to snuff. We love our new kitchen. It was a pleasure to work with Tom Defibaugh and all the folks at Home Craft Remodeling -- so much so that Home Craft will be doing our next project -- a family room makeover. Home Craft completed a bathroom remodel for us, and they did a great job! Everyone who worked on the project was very skilled and worked with great attention to detail. The project manager communicated with us frequently, so we knew what to expect every day. The project was completed on schedule and within the estimated cost. We were so pleased with their work that we have contracted with Home Craft for a second project!
