Curtains for You!
As I look around my house, I'm realizing that window treatments, or other curtains, are such an afterthought. Half my windows are totally bare, while the rest are dressed with simple Roman shades from West Elm or IKEA. That's fine for my minimal decor, but great curtains can add so much to a space. I should really consider them more often!

I love these floral curtains - they're just feminine enough for the space, but not overly so. This is an amazing window, but it's a really big one, too. Curtains are important for privacy. And in this case, the closed curtains will be just as nice-looking as the open window.
I love this shower curtain from Urban Outfitters. It's simple enough to appeal to my minimalist tendencies, but it's definitely not boring.
This nursery is great. I love blue and chocolate brown, and floor to ceiling curtains are a great way to hide a messy or hand-me-down dresser that doesn't match.
Curtains add a layer of formality to an outdoor space - they're a quick way to bring indoor elements out. I love this outdoor room - and I can imagine closing the curtains in the evenings to keep noise in and (hopefully) bugs out.
When the walls are windows, privacy is important, but it's also crucial to keep the intrusion to a minimum. These simple, tailored drapes are perfect. When open, they don't get in the way, but when they're closed, they offer necessary privacy.
I like this room for its contrast. Like the room above, the potential for privacy is necessary. In this case, the dark curtains are a great match for lighter, neutral furnishings.
Loft spaces are amazing, but sometimes it's nice to do a little separation. Curtains are a great way to divide spaces without making permanent decisions.
I love these stripes. The colors are unexpected, but a great complement for the rest of the space. Because the pattern is contained in the curtains, the rest of the room is saved from looking overly busy.
