This rare Chinese antique wedding cabinet is from northern, China and is about 120 years old. We found this large cabinet in the Chinese country side and had it restored by local craftsmen who restored it inside and out. This unusual 2 door painted cabinet comes with clothing rod, shelves and inside storage box. Restored and polished inside and outside with new blackened brass hardware, this handsome red lacquer armorer is hand painted in a playful Chinese gold bird and flower design. Clean and simple lines with Ming style elements and carvings it measures 50.5" x 22" x 67 inches high. Use in a bedroom as a armorer for clothing or in the living room as a entertainment center. This chest works in a modern, rustic or cottage interior.
