*Note* To match a hexagon design with compatibly sized equilateral and obtuse triangles, use the chart below. The length of the equilateral triangle sides will match the length of one of the hexagon's sides. The obtuse triangle (which is essentially the "top" triangle of a hexagon) will fit the spaces created by two adjoining hexagons, which is helpful for building a mural as it can be used as a "starter" to have the mural emerge from a flat surface, like a baseboard.
