CRAFTSMAN RENOVATION
Craftsman Kitchen, Atlanta
We took down two walls to make this a great room and connect the dining and living areas to the kitchen. We still needed a header at this location; hence the wood beam you see at left. We thought it made a lovely architectural touch anyways! The before photo shows the cheap plate glass that was replaced by these two simple wood, single-hung double paned windows. We opted for no mullions (grids) for a modern farmhouse look.
