Replaced old pressure treated floor and wood railings of a 20 x 12 foot deck and expanded deck by constructing a adjacent 7 x 12 area of decking and interrogated floor and railings to make a seamless larger deck to accommodate growing extended as grand children and their parents come to join the homeowner for the holidays and the beach. Addressed safety issues by making sure the old frame of existing deck was solid and added several lag bolts to secure the existing deck to the wall and added a second set of bolts to existing rail posts for added safety to hold larger gatherings, as building safety codes have improved since the original deck was originally constructed. The rail is Azek Premier, the Floor is Azek, The skirt is 1x10 Azek, but still had the protective plastic coating on it when I took these photos, hence the blue spots.
