Lake House Country Living

We all know that everyone congregates around the kitchen and with a large family, it is important to have a kitchen that can accommodate everyone. This fantastic wrap around bar top serves multiple purposes. It is perfect for giving the homeowner more prep space, it allows all of the kids to sit around the kitchen, and it provides a serving spot for food when entertaining. Some of the little details are the taupe painted beadboard around the base which contrasts nicely with the light and airy linen barstools. Again we used the stone from the exterior of the hours as a feature in this space with the custom vent hood. A lot of people think granite is "out of style" and feels "old", but when you use is properly, it feels current and fresh.
